Clifford Robertson

Clifford H. Robertson, age 80, passed away at his home in Fort Mohave, Arizona on January 20, 2012. Clifford was born to the late Howard J. and Frieda (nee: Schwerin) Robertson, October 5, 1931 in Detroit, Michigan. Mr. Robertson was raised in Detroit and served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War having attained the rank of Corporal. Following his honorable discharge from the United States Army in 1959 Mr. Robertson would work for many years at Chrysler Corporation before retiring in 1996 as a Publications Manager. After retiring he and his wife moved to Fort Mohave in 2003. Mr. Robertson was a railroad enthusiast, who enjoyed traveling with his wife to ride trains throughout the United States, Alaska, and Canada. His main hobby during his life was to build model trains and work with his model railroads and villages; however his true passion was his family and grandchildren. Mr. Robertson is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Evonne (nee: Leslin) Robertson, whom he married August 30, 1958 in Winamac, Indiana. Mr. Robertson was the devoted father of Todd (Lynne) Robertson of Harrison Township, Michigan; and Jolise Jonas of Fort Mohave, Arizona. He is also survived by his four cherished grandchildren: Brooke, Bryce, Baylee Jonas and Grant Robertson.Visitation for Mr. Robertson will be held on Friday January 27, 2012 from 4-9pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ' Mile). Funeral Services will be held on Saturday 10am at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at White Chapel Memorial Park in Troy, Michigan.
