Cora P. Fiebig, 91, of Madison Heights, Michigan passed away November 13th 2025 at Meadows Assisted Living in Mt.Clemens, MI. She was born on August 23 1934 in Prescott, Arizona. Cora retired from Costco after 10 years. She was a giver and very humbling, sometimes paying for a random person's food cart at Costco from time to time.
Cora raised a lot of money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation for 13 yrs by having Bowling Pro-Am events. She was very independent and strong willed. Cora cared about people, despite having a tough exterior and a heart of gold. She also was a huge Detroit sports fan, often times yelling at the TV or at the ballpark if they goofed up or succeeded.
Cora was an outright competitor in the sport of bowling in the 60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's. Her biggest moment was winning the 1986 WIBC Queens Tournament and being inducted into the WIBC Hall of Fame in 2004.
Surviving are her children, Cindy Fiebig, Chris Fiebig, and Lisa McCarty. Memorial contributions can be made to the Make A Wish Foundation.
Memorial visitation on Saturday, December 6th from 4pm to 7:30pm with a Memorial Service at 6pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road, in Warren.
