Damien Joseph-Lorenzo Cook

December 26 2002 – June 17, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the tragic passing of Damien Cook, age 22, of Gladwin, Michigan, who lost his life on June 17, 2025, in a motorcycle accident. Damien was doing what he loved most—riding—when he was taken from us far too soon.

Born and raised in Gladwin, Damien grew up with a deep love for the outdoors. He found joy in trail riding through the woods, sitting around bonfires with friends and family, and living life to the fullest. After moving to the metro Detroit area, he discovered a passion for crotch rockets and the riding community, which quickly became his second family.

Damien was known for his compassionate heart, infectious laugh, and willingness to help anyone in need. He never hesitated to put others first and had a way of making everyone feel seen and valued. Whether with family, friends, coworkers, or his riding group, Damien left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Andrea and Kristen Cook along with his sister Hailey He is survived by His extended metro Detroit family, the Greys/Friebes, his brothers and sisters his father Charlie nieces and nephews along with grandparents who adored him, as well as countless friends, coworkers, and members of the riding community who loved him like a brother.

Damien’s spirit will ride on in the memories we share, the stories we tell, and the lives he touched with his kindness.
