Born in Detroit to Patricia and the late Ronald Laux. Daniel loved his family more than anything. Daniel was an avid Detroit sports fan including the Redwings, Tigers, Lions, but most of all was a fan of Nascar. He often went to see races with his son Ryan through the years. One of the highlights was when they went to the Coca Cola 600 together. Daniel was proud especially of his son Ryan and was at every soccer, football, or any other sporting event for him through the years. They took many trips to Lake Montery in Grand Rapids for camping. After any trip they took he made sure to make to home to see his beloved dogs and best friends Charlie, Lila, and Dallas, who he loved just as much as his family. Daniel never wanted to see any dog go the pound. Any dog in need became a member of the family. Besides being an animal lover, Daniel would help anyone in need. He was the kind of man who would help anyone and ask for nothing in return. He will be dearly missed by all who survive him.
