David Teasel

David spent his career working as a splicer for the phone company before retiring. One of the proudest moments of his life was marrying Cindy after 20 years together. Their wedding was especially memorable as it was a double wedding shared with his sister Dinah and her husband in Barbados.

David found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved his coffee, crossword puzzles, peanut butter, hoodies, and could often be found with a cigarette in hand. He had a deep love for dogs and children, and one of his favorite pastimes was sitting in his backyard feeding the birds and watching them flutter about. He was the proud owner of his cherished 1977 Corvette and enjoyed watching football and car racing at home. Some of David’s most treasured memories were the Caribbean vacations he shared with Cindy, creating memories they cherished for years.

Beloved husband of Cindy Van Haaren for 30 years, though they were together over 50 in total. Father of Kristen Teasel. Brother of Dinah (the late William) Brinson, Cathy (Harold) Burton, and the late Alan Teasel, and Alana Hoeft. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
