Dennis graduated from Saint Clement High School class of 1957 and served in the Army during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He had a long career in the auto-mechanic/parts industry working in the family business that later became Harry & Sons Auto Parts.
He is known for his quiet (or not-so-quiet to some) whistle, along with his mild manner and generosity. Dennis never said “No” – always willing to help when and where he could. Let’s not forget his love of all things mechanical and his “tinkering” that we’re pretty certain he inherited from his father Ben.
Dennis leaves you with these parting emphatic words, “Live! Live your life!”
Dennis was the loving brother of Gerald (Laurie), the late Thomas, and the late Kenneth (Lorraine). Cherished uncle of Karen Bania, Shelly Bania, Scott (Kelly) Bania, Kristine (Michael) Butcher, and the late Keith (Lisa) Bania. Dear great-uncle of 9 great- nieces and nephews. Special friend of the late Lona Lietz.
Visitation for Dennis will be held on Wednesday, August 16th from 10-11am with a Funeral Service at 11am at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common Rd (12 1/2 Mile Rd) in Warren. Burial at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Dennis' name are appreciated to either Meals on Wheels of Macomb or to the Michigan Humane Society.

"My precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."
