Born and raised in the vibrant Polish community of Hamtramck, Dennis held his heritage close to his heart throughout his life. A veteran of the United States Air Force, Dennis served his country with honor and dedication. After his time in the service, he embraced the joys of a simple and quiet life, finding peace in everyday moments and purpose in the love of family.
He was an avid golfer, often finding solace and joy on the green, where he could appreciate the outdoors and the steady rhythm of the game he loved. To those who knew and loved him, Dennis was affectionately known as Uncle "D" — a name that carried warmth, wisdom, and a deep sense of devotion.
Dennis's presence was calm and constant, and he will be remembered for his unwavering loyalty, his gentle humor, and the quiet way he made those around him feel cherished. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends, who take comfort in the many memories shared and the lasting impact of his life.
Dennis was the loving brother of Elaine (the late Edward) Piasecki and Gerald (the late Ellen) Wojnar. Special friend of Dennis Czarnecki. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A burial for Dennis at Greal Lakes National Cemetery will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home in Warren.
