Donna Marinkov

Donna Marinkov, age 60 of Warren, died Thursday, February 26, 2015 at the Kambly Living Center in Battle Creek, Michigan. She was born April 10, 1954 in Detroit, daughter of Mamie (nee: Vezelich) and the late Dan Marinkov.From birth, Donna was a special needs child who was challenged by many obstacles that life would throw her way. But as she met each hurdle and grew in age, there was one obvious aspect that always grabbed her attention,…and that was her love of "bling." She adored jewelry and owned many unique pieces that were worn as if she were Queen for a day. It didn't matter that most of it was costume jewelry,…she simply found great enjoyment in the beauty it beheld. And one can only imagine the jewels she is now adorned with as she shares her home in Heaven with God.Donna was the beloved daughter of Mamie (nee: Vezelich) and the late Dan Marinkov. She was the dearest cousin of John (Ann Marie) Doychich and Helen (Greg) Near. Visitation for Donna will be held on Monday, March 2nd from 3-9pm, with a 6pm Poman Service, at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile Rd) in Warren. Her Funeral Service will be conducted at 10am on Tuesday, March 3rd at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East Cemetery in Clinton Township, Michigan.
