Elaine Victoria Farley

Elaine grew up in Detroit and attended Catholic grade school, where her strong values and resilient spirit first began to shine. She went on to build a dedicated career as a pharmacy technician, retiring from Kroger after many years of faithful service. She took pride in her work and the relationships she formed along the way.

On April 11, 1975, Elaine married the love of her life, Gary. Their marriage was one built on devotion and commitment, and they remained side by side until his passing in 2008. Together, they created a home filled with love and lasting memories.

Elaine enjoyed the simple comforts of life. She loved watching Law & Order: SVU and took great pride in keeping a neat and welcoming home. She was known for her stubborn streak, but those who knew her best understood that behind that determination was a heart that was beautiful inside and out.

Above all, Elaine was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her family was her greatest joy, and she will be remembered for her love, strength, and unwavering presence in their lives. She will be deeply missed and forever loved by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Elaine was the beloved wife of the late Gary. Loving mother of Gary Jr. (Teresa), Gerald (Jennifer), and Terri Graczyk. Adored grandmother of Zotia, Mikolai, Gage, Jiri, Tori, and Terra. Dear sister of Robert (Diane), the late Jerry, the late Emet (Mary), and the late Theresa (Douglas). Cherished aunt of David, Thomas, Daniel, and Rachael.

Visitation for Elaine will be held on Thursday, March 5th from 4pm-8pm with a Funeral Service at 7pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ½ Mile Road). Burial Friday, March 6th at 11am at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township.
