Ernie enjoyed life to the fullest, he was never happier than when he was on a boat with a cigar in his mouth and cocktail in his hand. He loved fishing, golfing (he was very proud of his hole-in-one), casino-ing, mowing the lawn, sporting events (especially Red Wings Hockey), but most of all he cherished time with his family.
