I had the pleasure of working for Ernie in the Marketing Division at BCBSM.  We remained friends all these years. Ernie was a wonderful man who cared about everyone, a friend to many.  A great sense of humor and a big heart. A bright light in our universe has gone out and he will be missed.  RIP my dear friend. 🙏 Condolences to his family. 

Mr. Miriani, you were such a great man. You literally changed the entire trajectory of my life, & in such a positive & meaningful way. I wouldn’t be where I am today or the person I’ve become, had it not been for you & your generous guidance and wisdom. You were the fairest and kindest man I’ve ever known, other than my own father (with whom he actually grew up with in their old neighborhood). I owe you a tremendous debt of gratitude for always being the friend you were to me. Rest well my friend, you have earned your wings in heaven as well as eternal peace & tranquility. You will be dearly missed by so many people, whose lives you have touched, during your journey here on earth. My thoughts & prayers are with Paul, Gloria & the entire family. May God bless you all.

My earliest memories of Uncle Ernie are gathered at Grandma and Grandpa’s for many a holiday dinner,  followed by “spirited” games of Tripoli around the card table in the basement.  I’m forever grateful that he opened the door to an interview at BCBSM for me.  Also remember the tender ways he cared for Grandma in her years after Grandpa passed.   Uncle Ernie, it’s true you are a “character” but it is your character that kept you close to your brother, family and friends.   Our condolences to Aunt Gloria, all my cousins and their families,  with love from the Waller family.  

A note to all of the Miriani family that our dear smart , witty and kind uncle Ernie leaves all of us saddened . His busy and productive life was impressive but his greatest legacy is his beautiful wife and kind loving, caring and equally witty children! Your closeness and support to your parents and each other are life’s greatest value. Uncle Ernie you will b missed but not forgotten . I wish you joy and happiness in heaven with all our dearest family members that have passed.

Just wanted you and your loved ones to know that I am going to miss you very much. You were always such a good brother to me and were always willing to help me if and when I needed things. Our phone calls together kept us close and I appreciate them more than you know. I was always proud of you and your service to the submarine...you made quite a man of yourself throughout life! I will forever be thinking of you and missing you. Thank you for being the greatest brother to me.

I had the pleasure of meeting Ernie almost 4 yrs ago and he was the kindest man I ever met. We shared many stories about fishing and the beautiful state of Florida. My heart and prayers go out to you and your family. May the fond memories of Ernie bring you comfort during this hard time in your life. My heart and prayers go out to you and your family. 

I had the privilege to work with Ernie for many years at the Blues. He was always a gentleman and a pleasure to work with. Rest In Peace  my friend.

Ernie was a very special man.  A great colleague and leader.  He enjoyed the challenges of work and solving the difficult problems.  My first encounter with Ernie was 55 years ago at Blue Cross Blue Shield.  His honesty and dedication to helping others was special.  He will be missed by many friends.

We are so sad to hear of Ernie’s passing.  He was a good friend of ours at the Moorings condos in Florida.  We enjoyed our get togethers with him at the complex.  Our sincere condolences to all of the Miriani family.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you now.

Ernie was such a nice and friendly man that my family  was  fortunate to have known for many years through my sister, Tara. He was well loved and will be greatly missed. We are so sad to hear of his passing and will remember him as a man who created a great family and left his mark on this world.

We lived next to Ernie  in Cape Coral Florida.   Always so sweet with an infectious smile on his face and would  ask “is there anything I can do for you “.

I live next-door to my sweet departed friend Ernie in Knolls North Condominium.  One of my daughters (Lynn) stays here with me often as I will be 90 in December.  My other daughter (Leslie) is the real estate agent who sold Ernie his place.
Our entire family is so saddened to hear of his passing.  He was a wonderful friend and great neighbor.  We enjoyed many afternoon conversations on my porch looking out onto the property and having a relaxing beverage.  He was such a kind and loving man, ….always talking about his wonderful family.  Ernie was a proud family man….genuinely happy to share his children’s/grandkids wonderful achievements and stories of great vacations and travel trips.
I will miss him so much.  His engaging  smile and comforting voice will always be remembered.
May Gods bless all of the Miriani family and may  He bring you comfort knowing that Ernie is in the everlasting beauty of heaven.  We WILL see him and all those we love that have gone before us again in the next life.🙏💕❤️

Lucky and I will miss Ernie’s smile and good nature. Ernie was always happy and positive. We will miss our buddy at the bar. A true gentleman. RIP
