It has always been so important to me to be loved by a family like the Pinto's. I have nothing but loving memories of Eva. Every time I would come over she would make sure I eat whether it was a delicious dinner or candy from her candy dishes. Her love & respect for everyone has past down to her children Carol, Cathy, Ralph and in her grandchildren. May you rest in peace. Your in Gods hands and will be eternally love by all. My condolences to the entire Pinto family. My prayers are with you and thank you for everything especially the loving memories.

I am sorry for your loss. If you are the same family and I am sure you are, I grew up with you on Teppert. Cathy and Ralph. I am Paula Bell (now Meinke. We probably haven't seen each other in 40 plus years, but you are always in my growing up stories and birthday party pictures. I am sorry about your mom. I will miss you terribly, Aunt Eva! You were like a second mother and big sister to me! You helped me through my teenage years, and we grew up laughing about everything. Grandma, I've missed you for a long time now but my memories of you make me smile and laugh. I will always remember the bags of candy you gave us kids and the ultimate (to a kid) treat of letting Eileen and I eat the ENTIRE box of fudgesicles when staying at your house! Spending time with you and grandpa are some of my happiest memories as a child and adult. You are finally home now and I am so happy for you! Even though I miss you terribly, I can see you holding grandpa's hand and smiling. I love you grandma...by the way, thank you for showing me the DOUBLE rainbow the other day when I was thinking of you. The only time I've ever seen the purple so bright in a rainbow. I know it was from you. Love, Vivyon (for those of you reading, that is how she pronounced my name! lol)

I miss you so much Grandma. I will always have wonderful memories of staying overnight at your house as a child and sleeping in your purple bedroom (my favorite color too). When we woke up in the morning, we were always greeted with your warm smile while you did your rosary (every morning). You made Chris and I "grandma" eggs with toast cut into strips to dip them into. I will never forget all of your stories and love. You are dearly missed and deeply loved.

As a child I loved to visit Aunt Eva. I could tell that she truly loved children and always planned for a visit, since she loved to share her wonderful collection of candy. I even remember going into Kresge and thought it was so neat to know the person at the candy counter. Some of my fondest memories of Aunt Eva come as an adult and seeing the love between her and Uncle James. They were very special together and now they are together again.

Love is the very deepest emotion we have. I cannot put my love for you into words. You've been everything in my life. So good-night my dearest mother, friend, and teacher. When my "calling" comes, I'll be with you soon. Peace. Carole

My grandma was a very special person to me. Being the first, and therefore, the oldest, grandchild, I think I had the best time with her. Growing up, my sister Kim and I spent many, many days at Grandma's house. She was the kind of person that made things magical and special for us. She would let us play "Princess" with her nightgowns and "dress up" with her jewelry, purses and shoes. We loved her "bubblegum cheese" sandwiches, buttered macaroni and how she would play "Ring of Fire" by Johnny Cash on the little record player over and over again, all day long. She even made cleaning house fun! I love my Grandma with a very deep love, as she was a second mother to me. I gave her her first two great grandchildren, Eric and Natalie, and they, too, spent many, many days with their great-grandma. What a blessing we had to have her as our grandmother. I love her and am glad that she is now at home with Jesus with a perfect mind and body, and no longer in any pain. Please save me the cloud next to yours until I see you again, Grandma, I love you.

Mom loved everyone. Everyone who knew her loved her, too. She lived her life with joy and respect for every person she came in contact with. Rather than the mourning of her passing, we, her family, will be celebrating her life at this time, for we are all here because of the wonderful life she gave us. To the family, I'm so sorry to hear of Aunt Eva's passing. Her brother Joseph (Joe Pops as we called him)was my grandfather. I didn't really know Aunt Eva, but I know my grandfather loved her and all his brothers and sisters very much. Just having lost my own mother last year (Patty Grewe nee Quattro), I know how hard it can be to lose a mother. May the whole family take solace in knowing that Aunt Eva is in heaven reunited with all her loved ones who have gone before. Peace, Kim

I have so many happy memories of visiting you, Aunt Eva! You always gave us candy and treats- we didn't get those at home! How many times did you tell jokes to Grandma (your sister Erma) that she never understood! We would be roaring with laughter because she would laugh, and then say,"I don't get it!" Your smile filled the room and you always made such a fuss over my brothers and me! Say hello to Grandma for me! Love, your great niece, Angela

Even though I haven't seen Aunt Eva for many years, I can still hear her voice, and her special laugh. She was one of those great people that will really be missed. It must be one hell of a card party up there!
