Frank J. Wilczewski

Frank Jozef Wilczewski, age 79 of Clare, formerly of Hamtramck, Detroit, and Warren for over 30 years, died Monday, November 08, 2004 at Central Michigan Community Hospital in Mt. Pleasant Michigan. Mr. Wilczewski was born March 11, 1925 in Hamtramck, Michigan, the son of the late Benedict Wilczewski and the late Marianna (nee: Furman) Wilczewski. He is survived by his wife Theresa (nee: Majka) Wilczewski. Dear Father of Frank Jr. (Mary Jo), Kenneth (Margaret), and Victoria Wilczewski. Loving grandfather of Scott (Barbara) Wilczewski, and Amy Wilczewski. Great grandfather of Ryan, Christopher, and Joey. Mr. Wilczewski served in the Army during World War II having attained the rank of Staff Sergeant. After his military service Mr. Wilczewski went to work for General Motors Fisher Body, working as a metal model maker. He retired in 1990 from General Motors Tech Center after 38 years. After retiring, Mr. and Mrs. Wilczewski moved to Clare where Frank tended to his ten acres and enjoyed cutting wood, and constantly tinkering and fixing things. Visitation for Mr. Wilczewski will be Wednesday from 2-9 pm, at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Rd. at Common, (12 mile). Mr. Wilczewski will lie in state Thursday November 11th, 9:00 am at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, 31555 Hoover Road, until time of Funeral Mass at 9:30 am.
