Fred S. Farhat

Fred Shaker Farhat, age 93 of Warren, died Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at St. John Macomb Hospital Center in Warren. Fred was born February 22, 1914 in Michigan City, Indiana the son of the late Mr. And Mrs. Farhat. He is survived by his loving wife Lena. He is the dear father of Pauline Albers, Paul Farhat, and Dennis (Donna) Farhat, and loving grandfather of Lisa, Lori, Lynn, Brian, Scott, and Andrea. Also surviving are 9 great-grandchildren, and 4 great great-grandchildren. Mr. Farhat retired from Chrysler Motors. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and gardening. When he was still able to get around he could be found at the local horse race track or playing lotto. His favorite pastime was spending time with family and relaxing. Visitation for Mr. Farhat will be Sunday from 2-7 pm, at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Rd. at Common Road (12 mile). Funeral Services will be Monday 11:00 am, at the funeral home. Officiating the funeral will be Rev. Pastor Duane Nelson. Interment will follow the funeral service at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Detroit.
