Gerald D. Lyons, age 55, of Mount Clemens died Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at Beaumont Hospital in Troy. Gerald was born August 10, 1953 in Detroit the son of the late Joseph and the late Marion (nee: Graick) Olex. He served in the United States Marines. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his 3 children, and watching the Detroit Tigers. His family will remember him by his good sense of humor. Gerald is survived by his children, Megan, Mallory, and Matt; sibilings, Jeannie Slosser, Joe Olex, Carol Doughty, Marge Hofbauer, and Kathy Steenbergh; and his best friend, Doug. Memorial visitation for Mr. Lyons will be Saturday 12-4 pm immediately followed by a 4 pm Memorial Service at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile Road).
