Hildegarde Hoffman

Hildegarde Hoffman, age 96 of Warren, died Sunday, April 4, 2010. She was born September 20, 1913 in Germany, the daughter of the late Johannes and the late Ottilie (nee: Kowalewski) Szczepkowski. Hilda is survived by her children; Louise (Malcolm) Brown, Ernest (Marilyn) Hoffman, Karl (Suzanne) Hoffman, Deborah Hoffman, and Susan (Samuel) Hires; grandchildren, Nancy (Don) Thomson, David (Helga) Brown, Kenneth (Gina) Brown, Shelly (Joe) Lagos, Gregg Hoffman, Julie (Anthony) Poindexter, Kristin Hoffman, Kathryn Speranza, Joseph (Cheryl) Hoffman, Andrew Hires, Renee Hires, and Bryan Hires; great grandchildren, Stephanie, Jennifer, Nicole (Joshua), Zachery, Ethan, Jennifer, Ryan, Troy, Brian, Kenneth "K.C.", Michael, and Rylie; 2 great-great grandchildren; Mackenzie and Logan. She is predeceased by her husband, William Hoffman and her brother, Henry Arens. A Memorial Service will be held on April 24, 2010 at 4:00pm at the New Apostolic Church, 25130 Lorraine Avenue, Warren, Michigan. Memorial donations may be made to the NAC Youth Development Fund, 3753 N. Troy Street, Chicago, IL 60618, or to Just Friends Adult Day Services (a senior day-care facility), 3600 25th Street, Columbus IN 47203. Arrangements entrusted to the D.S.
