James Patrick McKenna

James Patrick McKenna, age 46 of Eastpointe, died Friday, July 02, 2010 at his home in Eastpointe. James was born in Detroit and raised in Warren. He graduated from Warren Woods High School the class of 1982. James worked as a plumber in the plumbing trades for many years, and all of his family considered him the go to person for any plumbing emergency. When James was not working he enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling, canoeing, quad-wheeling, boating and tubing. James had a passion for animals and loved his pets and fish. He was a generous soul who was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. James was the beloved son of Helene and the late Leo J. McKenna, and the dear brother of Cynthia (Randy) Janowicz, Michael (Cheri), David (Liza), MaryEllen (James) Hartigan, and Elizabeth (Brandon) Miller. He was the loving uncle of Sean, Erika, Christopher, Ryan, Joshua, Jack, and Caitlin. James is also survived by many loving relatives, friends, and his cherished pets, Charlie and Brewski. Visitation for Mr. McKenna will be held Monday 5-9 p.m. and Tuesday 2-9 p.m. with a 7p.m. Knights of Columbus Rosary Service at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile Road). Closing prayers for Mr. McKenna will be at 11:30 am Wednesday from the Funeral Home, processing to St. Edmund Catholic Church for Mass at 12 Noon. Celebrating the Funeral Liturgy will be Rev. Fr.
