

James Richard Orchard, "KJD", age 25, died Monday, October 2, 2017 at his home in Warren. James was born June 5, 1992 in Detroit, Michigan.James was raised in Warren and graduated from Lincoln High School, a proud member of the Class of 2010. Throughout his entire life, James was not your average kid...rather, he was larger than life both figuratively and actually at 6 foot 6 inches tall since the age of 12, wearing a size 15 shoe. James was artistic from a young age creating drawings, enjoying magic, and later in life as the creator, producer, and performer of his own music. As a young man he had a thirst for knowledge. While other kids were watching cartoons, James was tuned into the History Channel and enjoyed outings to museums. James loved history and was considered by his family to be the go-to-guy for all things historical. Following high school, James continued his pursuit of a musical career within the rap genre. He became a gifted rapper who performed at local venues including the Hayloft, and opened for many notable performers. He created and performed in his own videos hosted on YouTube under the name of King James Dillinger or "KJD".For those who truly knew James, they'll forever reflect on what an "old soul" he was in a young man's body. James was also a kid at heart who enjoyed both golfing and bowling in his earlier years. He even went so far as to create his own miniature golf course in his backyard.James will be tremendously missed by all those whose lives he touched, especially his daughter, Peyton Jackson and special cousin, Alexis, with whom he shared a close bond.James was the loving grandson of Barbara L. and the late Patrick A. Orchard. He was the beloved son of Michelle M. Ozga, and cherished father of Peyton Jackson. Additionally, he was the nephew of Michael and Mark Orchard, and special cousin of Alexis. Further survivors include many loving family members and friends.Visitation for James will be held Thursday, October 5th from 3-9 pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile Road) in Warren. His Funeral Services will be held Friday morning, 10:00 am at the Funeral Home.
