Jason Mark Carissimi, age 33, died Friday, August 11, 2017. Jason was born August 17, 1983 in West Branch, Michigan to Mark David and Sheryl Lynn (nee: Placke) Carissimi.Born and raised in the beauty of Michigan's "Up North" country, Jason spent much of his youth enjoying the splendor of the outdoors. Whether he was riding his dirt bike, skateboarding or rollerblading, he was constantly active in getting the most from his love of the outdoors. This outdoor passion would eventually lead him to join one of our nation's finest organizations for young boys, the Boy Scouts of America. Jason's involvement in the Boy Scouts did much to strengthen and enhance his outdoors appreciation. As Jason grew older he would leave his skate board behind and trade it in for a fishing pole or his favorite gun. There was not a fish, in any lake, safe from Jason,...nor any game animal in the woods that could escape him.Jason was a hard worker and would give any job he held the best of his efforts. Yet of all the jobs that kept him employed, the job that he treasured the most was being a father. The times spent with his 5 children were the best moments of Jason's life. He had a huge heart with room enough for all he loved to reside, especially those precious cherubs, his children. Jason also possessed a broad and unique imagination, one in which he was able to use in keeping his children pleasantly engaged and entertained. He was also blessed with a great sense of humor, and the ability to know when to use it. If you were having a bad day, Jason knew just what to say to put a smile back on your face. When Jason was not outdoors, you might have found him in front of the television watching a horror movie or one of his favorite documentaries. He also enjoyed all of the latest technology and was proficient in its operation and uses. If your computer was not running right, Jason knew just what to do to fix it.A couple of years ago, Mark and Sheryl moved to Las Vegas which fueled another one of Jason's passions,...his love of travel. He was always up for a road trip. While at his parents' home in Las Vegas, he never ceased to be in awe at the beauty and grandeur of the mountains that surrounded the gambling mecca. Jason leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Mark & Sheryl Carissimi; his wife, Stephanie M.
