Jean A. Lacourciere, age 84 of Warren, died Saturday, December 12, 2009 at St. John Macomb Hospital. He was born June 2, 1925 in Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, the son of the late Leo and the late Marie Jeanne Lacourciere. At the age of 23, Jean's life was wonderfully changed when he entered into matrimony with his beloved, Georgette. After his years with the railroad, he decided to follow his entrepreneurial spirit and become a small business owner. For 10 years, Jean was the owner & proprietor of Warren Pool Centre, Inc. When he wasn't working, much of Jean's recreation and enjoyment was captured outdoors. Whether it was hunting, fishing, or gardening, he definitely liked getting out into nature. Jean was also a devout man of faith. For 45 years, he was a parishoner at St. Martin De Porres Catholic Church in Warren. But one of his dearest passions was found in his grandchildren. Their place in his life was extra-special and they meant the world to him.
