John Connors

John Henry Connors Sr. was born March 21, 1923 in Detroit the son of the late Michael and the late Nina (nee: Plane) Connors. John passed away on November 19, 2012 at his home. He was a lifetime resident of Warren. He also was a Retired Warren Police Officer 1954-1986. John was a lifetime member of the Fraternal Order of Police and the Father Kramer Council #2835 Knights of Columbus where he was a 3rd Degree Knight. John is survived by wife, Jessie; children, Betty (Darryl) Austin, John Jr. (Dawn), Maureen (Timothy) McConnell, Timothy, Michael (Connie), Kevin (Tammy), and Debbie; step daughter, Kelly; 18 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild; siblings, Thomas Connors and Marge Rosbury. He is predeceased by his wife of 45 years, Betty, and his siblings, William, Bob, and Nina. Visitation for John will be held Friday 3-9 pm with a 7 pm K of C Rosary at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile Road). His funeral service will take place Saturday 11:30 am at the Funeral Home.
