Jonathan Putnam, age 73 of Warren, died Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital in Warren. Jonathan was born on February 10, 1947 in Detroit, Michigan to Lillian Aldrich (nee: Bullard).
Jonathan was married to the love of his life, Connie for over 33 years. Together, the two shared many beautiful memories of raising a family and taking several trips throughout the years. With 3 boys, he helped in every way he knew how. He was always amused and kept busy when his grand-kids came to visit.
While working for Oakland County, Jonathan completed his Bachelor’s degree from Wayne State University. He worked as a veterans’ counselor for Oakland County, and loved helping people. Although he had been retired for the past 11 years, he always had his dog Teddy to keep him active.
Jonathan will forever be remembered as a man who always had a joke for everything and could light up the room when things were dark. He will be missed immensely and loved eternally.
Jonathan was the beloved husband of Connie. Loving father of Jonathan, Christopher, and Joel. Cherished grandfather of Jordan and Mackenzie. Dear brother of Mark Taber, Gayle (the late John) Kedmenec, Karen (Donald) Widajewski, Richard Putnam, Craig (Donna) Aldrich, Lloyd (Judy) Aldrich, the late Ivan (Janice) Aldrich, and the late Lillian (the late Fred) Mrozek. Survived by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Marjorie Taber.
A Memorial Service for Jonathan will be held at a later date.
