Joseph Frank Marchione

Joseph Frank Marchione, age 73, a longtime resident Warren, died April 7, 2012 at his home in Warren, surrounded by his family. Joseph was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 21, 1939 the son of the late Antonio and the late Frances (nee: Bruno) Marchione. He attended school at Pershing High School in Detroit. Following his schooling, Joe served his country during the Korean War. Upon his return to the United States Joseph worked as a Truck Driver for Leo's Contracting and Construction, where he also was a member to the Teamsters Union serving as the local union steward. When Joe was not working he enjoyed telling his family how to do things, and also play cards or share a story with anyone who would listen. He cherished his wife and large family, and the many family gatherings.Joseph Marchione was the beloved husband of Patricia (nee: Evans), and dear father of Joseph A., Jeffrey (Nancy), Brian (Cheryl), and the late David Marchione. He was the grandfather of Angela, Brendan, Lauren, Steven, Joseph, Richard, Robert, Tami, Jessica, and great-grandfather of Ryan. Brother of Anthony (Christine) Marchione, Lucy (Billy) Taylor, Leonard (Kitty) Marchione, Ralph (Diane) Marchione, and the late M. Josephine Monaco, and the late Victor Marchione. Visitation for Mr. Marchione will be Wednesday 2pm until the time of Funeral Services at 6:30pm, at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ' Mile).
