

Jozef Dul, age 66, died Monday, January 22, 2018 at Beaumont Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Jozef was born in Szczytnica, Poland, son of the late Stanislaw Dul and the late Julianna (nee: Morawiec) Dul.Jozef was raised and educated in Brzeznik. He would later serve two years in the Polish Army before entering the workforce. Jozef was a gifted and dedicated employee to the various employers he worked for in his early years. Jozef later operated his own successful cargo taxi and transport service in Poland.Jozef was an individual who enjoyed travel and exploration...a trait which led him to move to North America in 1986 to join his sister already living in Windsor Canada. He came to the United States via Boston and later settled in Hamtramck, Michigan. Jozef eventually found work at Hercules Machine Tool and Die, and later moved onto Richard Tool and Die in New Hudson, Michigan where he worked as a CNC Machine Operator. A faithful employee and very skilled tradesman, Jozef never missed a day of work during his entire career.When Jozef was not working he truly enjoyed life and all that life offered. He and his wife traveled and cruised aboard ships to many different destinations including back to Poland to visit his beloved family. In addition to traveling, Jozef was a scuba diver and cherished his time spent with his son in Hawaii. He rode motorcycles, enjoyed boating on the lakes, and had great athletic ability playing Walley-Ball with friends. When he walked into a room, Jozef was the kind of person who attracted everyone's attention through his good looks and his natural ability of telling wonderful stories. Quiet time for Jozef was spent reading, listening to music, or spending time with his wife and family. He took great pride in his home and yard and was especially proud of his Polish heritage. Jozef will be forever remembered as a hardworking, dedicated and loving individual.Jozef was the beloved husband of Anita, and the dear father of Maciej (Brandi) Dul, Robert Dul, and Mary Ann Dul. He was the loving grandfather of Mila and Kaleo. Jozef was also the cherished brother of Edward (Anna) Dul, Weronika (Stanislaw) Galuszka, Emilia (Henryk) Andres, and the late Maria Smulczynska. Jozef is also survived by many loving relatives and friends. Visitation for Jozef will be held Thursday, January 25th from 5-9 pm and Friday from 2-9 pm, with a 7 pm Rosary Service, at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ½ Mile Rd) in Warren. Jozef will lie in state on Saturday, 9:30 am at Our Lady of Czestochowa Catholic Church, 3100 18 Mile Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48314, until the time of his Funeral Liturgy at 10:00 am. Celebrating the Funeral Liturgy will be Reverend Fr. Andrej Maslejak. Jozef's remains will return to his home town of Brzeznik for burial. Please share memories of Jozef at his memory book above.
