Kelly Gregory Borowicz

Kelly Gregory Borowicz, age 69, of Warren, Michigan passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025. Kelly was born on September 20, 1955, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Walter and the late Sophie Borowicz.

Kelly retired from Chrysler after 25 years as a pipe fitter. He was family oriented and always put his family first. Trips to the family cottage in Sugar Springs were always looked forward to. Working with his hands, building and creating new things or fixing something broken was one of his many talents. He shared this talent with all of his grandkids, teaching them whenever he could. His most memorable creation was building a train, that him and his grandchildren referred to as their tractor out of his riding lawnmower and feed troughs that was enjoyed by children and adults alike.

Kelly is the loving husband of 48 years to Sharon Borowicz. He is the father of Tracey (Kevin) Bailey and Amy (Justin) Hauser. The grandfather of Katelyn and Kyle Bailey and Gianna and Isabella Hauser. Brother of the late Walter, the late Marie, the late Donald, and Robert. He is survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and extended family.

A visitation for Kelly will be held Thursday, January 23, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road in Warren. An instate will occur Friday, January 24, 2025 from 9:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 10:00 AM, 32000 Schoenherr Rd, Warren, Michigan 48088.
