Born and raised in Detroit, Ken graduated from Cody High School and was the beloved son of Caroline Stacey, who raised him with strength and love as a single mother. Ken spent 35 dedicated years working at Detroit Diesel, where he built not only a career but lasting friendships. Ken shared 56 wonderful years of marriage with the love of his life, Sharon. Their bond was a testament to enduring love, laughter, and partnership. Together they built a life full of warmth, family, and cherished memories.
A lifelong sports enthusiast, Ken was a passionate fan of the Tigers, Lions, and Pistons—never missing a game and always ready with a spirited take on the latest season. He also found great joy in collecting coins, a hobby that reflected his attention to detail and appreciation for history. Ken will be remembered for his sharp wit, his infectious sense of humor, and the way he could light up a room with laughter. He had a gift for making people feel welcome and seen, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Ken was the beloved husband of Sharon. Loving father of Ken (Erin) and Brian (Julie). Adored grandfather of Reagan, Reese, and Blake.
