Kenneth R. Dysarczyk

Kenneth R. Dysarczyk, age 91, of Warren, Michigan passed away on Friday, September 29, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Luvern; dear father of David (Angie) Dysarczyk, Chris Dysarczyk, Susan (Mike) DeDecker, and Tracy (Joe Budnick) Dysarczyk; loving grandfather of Melissa (Matt), Sarah (Jay), Joey, Michael, and Carley; and cherished great-grandfather of Brody, Brielle, Rory, and Pressley. Kenneth is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He served in the Korean war, first as an infantry soldier, then as a master mechanic in charge of all the vehicles in the motor pool of a MASH unit. After his service, he was co-owner of two auto repair businesses including a gas station and service garage and then Tri-City service in Roseville. He was a very hard worker and gifted mechanic, and he mentored many mechanics and built a loyal group of long-time customers. He could fix anything and was always willing to lend a helping hand to friends and family; fixing their vehicles, helping with home improvements, and doing projects for them in his woodshop.

Ken’s friends and family knew him as “Whitey” due to his blonde hair. Ken was an avid fisherman, model airplane builder, and woodworker. He also, loved his dogs dearly. He always had a joke or a story to share from his youth.

A memorial visitation for Kenneth will be held Friday, October 6, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a memorial service at 6:00 PM, at D.S. Temrowski and Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road, Warren, Michigan. Please share a memory with the family in our online guestbook.
