

Laurence Albert Sugg Jr.a 20 year resident of Fraser, died Sunday evening in St. John Hospital, Detroit following a long illness. He was 68 years of age. Larry was born in Detroit on June 27, 1942, a son of the late Laurence and Dorothy (McCaslin) Sugg. He served his country honorably during the Vietnam Conflict in the U.S.Navy. He was united in marriage to his beloved wife, Carol Lynn Woodard Larry owned and operated the Mills Process Company of St. Clair Shores since 1968. He was a life member and past president of the Shorewood Kiwanis Club for many years and was instrumental in the establishment of the Ice Capades for Children of Special Needs, the memorial day parade and Harper Dream Cruse. He was always donating his time for fund raisers and helping the less fortunate. Larry belonged to the Am Vets and the Michigan Gold Wing Road Riders Association. He was a person with a quick witt, a strong will and a strait shooter whom anyone could count on. He enjoyed his motorcycle, golfing traveling and his beloved cat, Tiffany. Larry is survived by his beloved wife, Carol; his loving sons, Michael (Mary) and David; his brother, Donald (Carolyn); his grandchildren, Danielle (Dan) Schall and Jacob and great grandchild, Keria. Visitation will be held at the Temrowski Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Rd. & Common, Warren, Tuesday 5-9pm and Wednesday 2-9pm with funeral services at the funeral home, Thursday at 9am. Burial with full military honors will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Thursday at 1pm. Memorials to the Michigan Humane Society or donors choice appreciated.
