Leo J. McKenna

Leo J. McKenna, age 72 of Warren, died Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at his home. Leo was born March 15, 1936 in Detroit the son of the late Patrick James and the late Mary (nee: Ottrock) McKenna. Leo was an accomplished Pharmacist and long time owner of Todt's Pharmacy. He was a former President of Southwest Detroit Business Association, a Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, member of Michigan Pharmacy Association, Ancient Order of the Hibernians, Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity, and Wayne State University Alumni. He is survived by his wife, Helene (nee: Mack); children, Cynthia (Randy) Janowicz, Michael (Cheri), James, David (Liza), Mary Ellen (James) Hartigan, and Elizabeth (Brandon) Miller; grandchildren, Sean, Erika, Christopher, Ryan, Joshua, Jack, and Caitlin; siblings, Eve (Richard) Eynon and Edward Griffis. Visitation for Mr. McKenna will be held Thursday 5-9 p.m. and Friday 2-9 p.m. with a 7:30 p.m. Knights of Columbus Rosary Service at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile Road). He will lie in state Saturday 9:30 am at St. Edmund Catholic Church until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:00 am. Officiating the Funeral Liturgy will be Rev. Fr. Robert Witkowski. Entombment will follow at Christian Memorial Cultural Center Cemetery in Rochester. "May the road rise up to meet you.
