Lillian Jagodzinski, age 75, formerly of Hamtramck, died Saturday, October 23, 2010. She was born October 16, 1935 in Toronto, Canada, the daughter of the late Alexander and the late Mary (nee: Kolodj) Waseluk. When Lillian was a young girl she enjoyed playing the violin, piano and accordion. And when she wasnt busy with her musical talent you could find her dancing to polish music which eventually led into being a Polish Dancer. After meeting the love of her life and marrying him, Lillian and her husband Richard had four wonderful children which they raised to be loving adults that she was so proud of. After her children had childrenyou would always catch her doting over her grandchildren. The grandchildren were the joy of her life. Lillian and Richard were kept busy by the many rental properties and their place in Vegas, Nevada. They first started traveling to Vegas for seasonal visits then they started spending more and more time there. Her kids loved that mom and dad where doing what the loved to do and they didnt mind making the trip to go and visit them. She loved playing bingo on Thursday and Friday nights, and if she could get her neighbor to go she would play on Saturdays as well. She had a great life and for many years but during the last few months she still never complained about her health and the pain that she suffered. She was a strong woman and wanted to remain positive for her family. Over all she loved her family with all of heart and wants them to hold on to the beautiful memories that they created together. She will be missed by all of us here on earth but welcomed by her loved ones at home in heaven. Lillian was the beloved wife of Richard L. Jagodzinski; she was the loving mother of Debra (Herbert) Fraleigh, Donna Dudek, Cathy (Joe) Paglia and David; proud grandma of Stephanie, Lisa, Anthony, Danielle and Ben. A memorial visitation will take place Saturday at Noon-12 pm until the time of Memorial Service at 4 pm at D. S. Temrowski Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover, Warren. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital. Please share a memory in her guestbook.
