Loraine Christine Solomon, age 89 a longtime resident of Warren, died on Wednesday, August 4, 2010, at Shelby Nursing Center in Shelby Township, Michigan. Loraine was born September 14, 1920, in Detroit, Michigan. She is survived by her beloved husband of 71 years, Homer C. Solomon, and her dearest children, Homer (Rosemarie Terry), Mark (Anita), Ronald (Beverly), and David (Denyse) Solomon. Loving grandmother of Michelle (Mike) Metcalfe, Kelley (Nick) Beauchamp, Tiffany (Ethan) Burzych, Stacey Solomon, Jason Solomon, Olivia Solomon, Anne Solomon, Carolyn Solomon, and great-grandmother of Brooke, Ryan, Allexis, Malea and Mackenzie. Visitation for Mrs. Solomon will be Friday 3-9 p.m. at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile). Mrs. Solomon will lie in state Saturday 9:30 a.m. at St. Teresa of Avilla St. Dorothy Church campus, 12255 Frazho Road in Warren, until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Celebrating the Funeral Liturgy will be Rev. Fr. Michael Gawlowski. Interment will follow the funeral at Cadillac Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Clinton Township. Please share memories of Mrs. Solomon at her guest book.
