Lori Elizabeth Uteg

Lori Elizabeth Uteg age 50 a lifetime resident of Warren Michigan died October 19, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Lori was born February 12, 1964 in Detroit Michigan the daughter of the late Henry Kraus and the late Mary (nee: Koenig) Kraus.Lori was raised in Warren and and attended Warren Woods Schools and later graduated from Hazel Park Schools Adult Education Program. Following her schooling Lori worked for over 12 year as an administrative assistant within TACOM defense contracting. Lori loved her job at TACOM, however she and her husband decided being a "Stay at Home" Mom was much more important.Lori was a wonderful mother and homemaker attending to a clean home and volunteering for her children's activities. When she and her family would get away they would often go camping. For the past seventeen years the family camped annually at the Detroit Sportsman's Congress campsite in Oxford, Michigan. Lori will be missed by all whom she touched during her life.Lori was the loving wife of Robert and is the dear mother of Joseph, and William Uteg. Lori is also survived by her sisters Donna Knopf, Kimberely Kraus, Barbara Kraus, and many loving family members and friends.Visitation for Lori will be Wednesday October 22nd, from 5-9pm, and Thursday 2-9pm, with a 7pm Rosary Service at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Rd. at Common (12 1/2 mile). Lori will lie in State Friday 10am until the time of the Funeral Mass 10:30am at St. Faustina Catholic Church (formerly St. Edmund), 14025 E 12 Mile Rd. in Warren.
