Louis Edward Brady, age 77 of Shelby Township, died Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at Pomeroy Living Rochester Skilled Rehabilitation. Louis was born April 28, 1942 in Bay City, Michigan, son of the late Arthur Thomas Sr. and Rhea (nee: Moultane) Brady.
Louis honorably served our country in the United States National Guard.
Louis enjoyed the positive endorphins that would result from the love of sports. He played college football at Northwood University and later transferred to Central Michigan University, where he continued to enjoy and play football. Throughout his life, Louis coached various sport teams including soccer, baseball and basketball. After many years of coaching, he would still be referred to as “Coach" by former players and friends. Louis also enjoyed bowling and golfing in his free time. He could be considered a true “sports fanatic”.
Louis was truly an assiduous man. In addition to his love for sports, he was also mechanically inclined. He enjoyed spending countless hours working on small engines; lawnmowers, chainsaws and various other machines around the house. It could be challenging at times, but always worth the reward of restoration.
In addition to the great love that Louis shared, his greatest legacy of love and integrity will forever reign in the hearts of his family. Louis loved and was loved by everyone. His wife, Patricia, said that he has never done anything wrong. She takes comfort in the fact that Louis will be welcomed into the gates of Heaven with the words: ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant.’ The legacy of Louis Edward Brady brings comfort to his family and will keep his name ever-present.
Louis was the beloved husband of Patricia (nee: Beach). Loving father of Chris (Krista) and Dana (David) Teague. Cherished grandfather of Erik, Sean, Devin, and Daelyn. Adored great-grandfather of Mason. Dear brother of Tom Brady and Ginny (Larry)LaBell. He is also survived by his sister-in-laws Harriet Brady and Annie Clarey as well as many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Visitation for Louis will be held Sunday, July 12 at 11:30am with a Memorial Service at 12:00pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road, Warren, Michigan 48093.
