Aunt Pat so sorry to hear about Uncle Lou.  I have so many memories of time spent with you and uncle Lou.  I shall cherish them forever.  Mom and Dad were also blessed to have shared so many special memories with both of you. The time you spent with them meant a lot to them as my mother often shared.  Although we are separated by time and distance you are still forever in my heart.  My thoughts  and prayers are with you and  your family. In Memoriam of Louis Brady.   

This memoriam is going to be a little different.  It is about a road traveled simultaneously for both of us.  First of all, you were never known to me as Louis....you were always known to me as Louie Brady and in later years it transformed into just Lou Brady.  You were probably only known as Louis to Sister Mary Arthur at St. Brigid's Catholic School where we began our life's journey together in the same grade.  Then on to Central Intermediate together and then to the new Midland High School as sophmore's and the honor of being the first graduating class to attend all three years at the new high school.  And the high school years were great...especially your journey as you became well known for your football skills.  The only player remembered as the halfback that could go an additional 10 yds. with three tacklers hanging on.  You were the backbone of the ground game for Midland High in those years.  Then in 1960 we graduated and went our separate ways for awhile. I next saw you a couple of years later in my front yard at home working for Smith Construction putting in the first paved street in our subdivision.  I was glad to see you again and catch up briefly.  Then one day...another coincidence...I was looking for a room off-campus at Central Mich. Univ. and one became available and I grabbed it...only to learn later the previous occupant was Lou Brady.  Then one day...a few years later...another coincidence...I heard of this new family moving into our neighborhood.  It was the Brady family.  One day I was playing basketball with my friends at their house and there you were next door and I then realized it was the Brady I knew from school.  I went over to catch up on our lives since high school.  Guess what....a big green buick pulled into the driveway and I was introduced to the driver as your younger sister Ginny.  Ginny and I dated after that introduction and you went on to date a young lady called Pat Beach.  And the rest is history old friend...from my and Ginny's engagement and marriage...to you becoming my brother-in-law and marrying your sweetheart...Pat.  You will be happy to know that I have loved and cherished that young sister of yours for the last 55 yrs.  As we all went our separate ways eventually, we also spent a lot of good times meeting at Brady family dinners, weddings, anniversaries, graduations, reuniuons, and yes...funerals.  Now as you begin your journey alone without this old classmate and family member...please say a prayer for Ginny and I as we will for you.  See you soon.

Uncle Lou, You have been a part of my life longer than I can even remember and when I think of you it is with deep love, joy, happiness, smiles and laughter. Your kindness, generosity and integrity will be missed by those left behind. May you feel only love and happiness as you reunite with my Dad and other loved ones already gone before you. I bet you all are having a big family reunion filled with loud laughter, joyous smiles and big hugs full of love. Keeping your grieving family and friends in our prayers. May the memories of your love, your smile and your laughter help ease the pain of your loss and bring peace and strength to all.

My heart goes out to your family for your loss...Lou was such a good and kind man, and such great fun to go out dancing with...may my Robert and Lou enjoy each other’s  company in heaven...prayers and love sent ❤️

Chris and family, I want to say how sorry I am for your loss, your Dad was a very humble and stand up guy. He was a true man of his word and if half the men in this world could equal him in quality, the world would be a much better place.
I am honored to to have known him.
