Margaret J. Shaw, age 68 of Shelby Township, died Saturday, November 15, 2003 at St. Joseph Hospital West in Clinton Township. She was born May 10, 1935 in Detroit, Michigan the daughter of the late Joseph Zimny and the late Sophie (nee: Ruszala) Zimny. Mrs. Shaw lived in Warren for over 40 years before moving to Shelby Township. She is survived by her husband Robert, her children: Sandee (David) Orzel of Macomb, and Douglas (Pam) Shaw of Troy. Also surviving is her mother in-law Genevieve Shaw, and her grandchildren, Douglas, Alayna, Zachary, Birdie, and Alexis, and her sisters Suzy Zimny, and Josephine Okragleski. Mrs. Shaw was an avid bowler and golfer, but will be remembered most by her family as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Mrs. Shaw will lie in state Wednesday 9:30 am at St. Thecla Catholic Church, 20740 South Nunneley in Clinton Township, until the time of the funeral Mass 10:00 am. Officiating the Funeral Mass will be Rev. Fr. Michael Gawlowski. Visitation will be held at D. S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home on Monday from 5-9 P.M. and on Tuesday from 1-9 P.M. Memorial donations appreciated to the Karmanos Cancer Institute.
