Mario Carmine Amodei, age 88 of Warren, died May 18, 2021 at Ascension St. John Hospital & Medical Center in Detroit. He was born on June 22, 1932 in Detroit, Michigan, son of the late Joseph and the late Raffaela (nee: Angelone) Amodei.
Mario was the beloved husband of Shirley. Loving father of Kim (Bob) Sultana, Joe (Grace Lau) Amodei, Ann Amodei, Lisa (Mike) Lewis, Tony (Jenny Chrostowski) Amodei, and Paul (Peggy) Amodei. Cherished grandfather of Ben and Nick Sultana, Matthew (Courtney) Lewis, Brian (Teddi) Lewis, Olivia Amodei, and Adam Amodei. Adored great-grandfather of Jack, Evelyn, Charlotte, and Abraham.
Mario will lie in state on Thursday, May 20th from 10:00 am until the time of his Funeral Mass at 10:30 am at St. Faustina Catholic Church, 14025 E. 12 Mile Road, Warren, MI 48088. Mario will be entombed at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Detroit, Michigan.
