Marion Julius Jackowicz

Jackowicz, Marion (Jack) Julius, 83 years old. Born 1/9/1930 - Died 8/30/2013. Marion leaves behind his wife, Elizabeth, of 56 years and his four children, David (Ruth) Jackowicz, Diane Jackowicz, Dennis (Janet) Jackowicz and Donna Jackowicz. Marion is also known by his six grandchildren as PaPa. Justin, his oldest, is already resting in heaven. He is also survived by his beautiful grandchildren Sara, Christa, David, Jessica and Hannah.Jack worked hard from the age of 18 to earn a college degree and find a career that ultimately supported his growing family of six. He retired in 1995 from State Farm Insurance after providing 35 years of dedicated service. As his children were growing up, he made it a point to take his family each year on nice vacations, typically to warm, sunny, destinations in the U.S. Jack took pride in his home and enjoyed being outdoors around the house and caring for his yard and cars.Visitaion will be held Tuesday 3-9pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile Road), with a Scripture Reading at 7pm by Father Joe Gembala. Marion will lie in state Wednesday at 10:30am, at St. Malachy Catholic Church, until the time of his Mass at 11:00am. Please share memories on his Memory Book.
