Mark Phillip Krynski, age 66, died Sunday, January 31, 2021 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township, Michigan. Mark was born March 6, 1954 in Detroit, Michigan, son of Audrey (nee: Yarmuch) Krynski, and the late Robert Casper Krynski.
Mark was raised on the eastside of Detroit where he graduated from Osborn High School, the graduating class of 1972. Throughout his entire life, Mark demonstrated a high degree of intelligence and a truly mechanical mind which ultimately led him to a career of thought and mechanism.
Mark first worked for Paragon Steel and later Chrysler Defense, which evolved into General Dynamics. He was immensely proud to possess the knowledge and skills of fixing and repairing tanks for the defense of our country. Last, he worked for General Motors as a skilled tradesman.
Mark loved his family and truly enjoyed being anywhere outdoors. Growing up, Mark was a Cub Scott and then a Boy Scott, which fostered his love of nature and being prepared. He cherished his time hiking in the woods, as well as hunting and camping. Mark was a mountain biker in his earlier years, and later in life just enjoyed walking outside on the trails or visiting the annual Renaissance festival.
When Mark was unable be outside, he could be found inside constantly reading. He was a voracious reader of military history, Sci-fi novels, and good old cowboy western stories. In addition to his reading, Mark was a collector of knives and swords from the Renaissance era.
Mark will be forever missed by all who had the privilege of getting to know him, especially his dear family.
Mark was the beloved son of Audrey and the late Robert Krynski. He was the dear brother of Carol Krynski, Jim Krynski, and Maribeth Krynski. Mark was the loving uncle of Harper Krynski, and is also survived by many cherished family members and friends.
A Memorial Visitation will be held Saturday, February 20, 2021 from 2-6pm, with a 5pm Prayer Service at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ½ Mile Rd).
