

Martin Peter Lynch, age 49 of Roseville, died Sunday, April 18, 2004 at St. John Hospital in Detroit. Mr. Lynch was born April 01, 1955 in Mount Clemens, Michigan, the son of Charles Lynch and Patricia (nee: Rowan) Lynch. He is the beloved son of Patricia Lynch and Charles (Diane) Lynch. Dearest brother of Michael (Debbie), Matthew, Mark, and Kristy Lynch. Special friend of Nancy and Nicole McCarthy. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Mr. Lynch grew up in St. Clair Shores and graduated from Lakeview High School class of 1973. He attended Bluffton College in Ohio and Macomb Community College in Warren, where he received his Associates Degree. Mr. Lynch worked for his fathers company, Robert F. Brown Machinery in Warren as a salesman. He loved all sports, especially the Detroit Red Wings, but his passion was power boat racing. Mr. Lynch was a member of the Michigan Offshore Powerboat Racing Association (MOPRA). He did many PR events for the sport and was an often-quoted spokesperson in many newspapers including the Macomb Daily. He also raced in many events. Besides his love for powerboats he also collected sports trading cards in every sporting category. Visitation will be held at D. S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home on Monday from 5-9 P.M. and on Tuesday from 2-9 P.M. with a Rosary service at 7:30 PM on Tuesday. Funeral Mass will be held April 21, 2004 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Sylvester Catholic Church in Warren. Officiating the funeral Mass will be Rev. Fr. Gary Schulte burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
