Mary Augustyniak

Mary Augustyniak, age 81 of Warren, died Sunday, April 03, 2005 at Bon Secours Nursing Center in St. Clair Shores. She was born June 20, 1923 in Yukon, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Louis Pendrak and the late Katherine (nee: Sweeney) Pendrak. She is survived by her husband Henry, and her children Barbara (Philip) Kozlowski, Ken (Lori) Augustyniak, and Alan (Maureen) Augustyniak. Also surviving are her loving grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Patrick, Christopher, Nicholas, Emily, Adam and Sarah. Mrs. Augustyniak was raised in Michigan and graduated from Northeastern High School in Detroit. After high school Mrs. Augustyniak worked for General Motors and J.L Hudsons, and also Excello Corporation during the war as an inspector. After she married her husband she became a stay at home mother raising her children. During her time at home she enjoyed crafts, ceramic painting, decorating Ukrainian eggs, sewing, and baking. Also she loved bowling staying active with two leagues. Visitation for Mrs. Augustyniak will be on Tuesday from 5-9 pm, and Wednesday from 1-4:30 pm & 6-9 pm. Funeral services will be held Thursday April 7th 10:30 A.M. at the St. Sylvester Catholic Church in Warren. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery.
