Mary Emma Harris

Mary E. Harris, age 86 of Warren died peacefully at home on Saturday October 15, 2011. Mary was born March 13, 1925 in Portland, Indiana the daughter of the late Jason Wood and the late Freida (nee: Valentine) Wood. Anyone who knew Mary, or experienced one of her fun parties, realized very quickly that she had a great outlook and love for life. This great love of life made bowling, playing horseshoes or just playing euchre with Mary a great joy. Mary was always excited and happy to spend time with her grandkids and had a special affection for playing in the pool with them. Although Mary worked 44 years at TACOM in Warren, she was not content with having a life of all work and no fun. Thus she would take great vacations and loved to travel in order to live life to the fullest. Mrs. Harris was a beloved wife of the late James F. Hamilton and the late L. Harris. Mrs. Harris was a dear mother of Lynn (Fay) Hamilton, LorEtta (Daniel) Wilson, and the late James Lawrence Hamilton. Mary was a cherished sister of the late Bill Wood. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Funeral services Wednesday 11:00 am. at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ' Mile Rd).
