Mildred Florence Thomas

Mildred 'Millie' Thomas, age 86 longtime resident of Detroit and currently of Warren died November 13, 2012 at St. John Hospital in Warren. Millie was born July 4, 1926 in Detroit Michigan the daughter of the late Michael and Stella Adiatays.Millie was raised in Detroit and graduated from Pershing High School. She married and worked for a short time before becoming a 'stay at home' mom. Millie was a wonderful homemaker and cook for her family. She and her husband Walter were married for over 66 years. Fun time for Millie was spent doting on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Millie also enjoyed venturing out the Bingo Halls or visiting the Windsor Casino. She will be remembered as a loving and wonderful person.Mildred was the beloved wife of Walter, and dearest mother of Judy (Bill) Hey, and Gary (Kim) Thomas. She was the loving grandmother of Jeffrey, Kevin, and great-grandmother of Lauren, Logan, Elizabeth, and William. Mildred is also the dear sister of the late Edward Aditays, and sister in-law of Dorothy Aditays. Visitation for Millie will be Thursday from 5-9pm with a 6:30pm Rosary Service at D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ' Mile). Mrs. Thomas will lie in state Friday 10am at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 8200 Rolyat in Detroit, until the time of Funeral Mass at 10:30am. Celebrating the Funeral Liturgy will be Rev.
