Paul Joseph Colombo

Paul Joseph Colombo, age 36 and former resident of Rochester and Clinton Township, died Monday, September 1, 2014 in Scottsdale, Arizona. He was born January 27, 1978 in Warren, Michigan.For a career path, Paul chose the people-friendly environments of both the Hospitality and Movie industries. With his handsome looks and engaging personality, both fields were simply a natural fit for Paul, and an avenue for him to express the outgoing person he was to all.Speaking of a "natural fit,"…the game of Golf was another aspect of Paul's life where he shined like a star. He absolutely loved the sport and the pleasure that was always enjoyed by a day on the links. Another of his talents was found in the magic he performed in the kitchen. Being the consummate food connoisseur, Paul loved to cook and provide happiness through the tasty meals he prepared. Along with being a social magnet for many, Paul also possessed the heart of a loving caretaker and was often the warm & compassionate counselor to his family in times of need. If you needed an encouraging pick-me-up, Paul was the one to call. His bright smile and laugh will be missed by all that knew him, and he will be loved eternally.Paul was the dear son of Susan (Donald) DeBolt, and the late Dennis Colombo. Beloved brother of Lisa (Chad) Stuemke. Also survived by many other loving family members.A memorial gathering for Paul will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 12pm Noon at Maggiano's Little Italy, 2089 W. Big Beaver Road in Troy.
