With deep love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Peggy Ann Babinski, a vibrant woman with a loving soul, who took her final journey to meet her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 5, 2025, at the age of 70.
Beloved wife of Edward J. Babinski, Jr., Peggy and Ed were married for 52 wonderful years, sharing a life filled with love, family, and adventure. Together, they raised four children: Dennie JoAnn Zacklan, Edward J. Babinski III, Christine Ann Babinski, and Heather Marie Babinski, all of whom preceded Peggy in death. Though she carried the immeasurable loss of her children, Peggy’s strength, resilience, and unwavering love for her family never faltered.
She was the proud and devoted grandmother of Corey James Zacklan and Duke Matthew Foote, who brought her great joy and pride. Peggy was a beloved sister to Robert (Sherry) Green and Richard Green, and was preceded in death by her brother Edward Green. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends, all of whom were touched by her warmth, laughter, and generous heart.
Born and raised in Michigan, Peggy, Ed, and the kids spent three years living in Leander, Texas, before returning home to Warren, where they built a life centered around family and community. Peggy was the heart of every gathering — a gifted hostess who loved to entertain. She was never happier than when surrounded by loved ones, planning the next celebration, or opening her home to guests. Her love for people was matched only by her deep affection for animals, especially the many dogs who were part of her life over the years.
Later in life, Peggy and Ed fulfilled one of her lifelong dreams: traveling across the United States in an RV. Their journeys together were a testament to their adventurous spirit and enduring bond.
Peggy will be remembered for her warmth, her vibrant personality, her deep compassion, and the joy she brought into the lives of everyone she met. Her presence will be deeply missed, but the legacy of her love and strength will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
Visitation at the Warren location of A.H. Peters Funeral Home on Friday, August 8th, 3-8pm. Funeral Service at the funeral home on Saturday, August 9th, at 11am.
Any donations in Peggy's memory to the family are appreciated.
