Peter Paul Zeimis

Peter P. Zeimis Sr. Nov 2, 1916 to Dec 21, 2010.94 years old. Husband of the late Dorothy. Estranged from Virginia. Father of Peter P. (Lynn) Zeimis Jr., Patricia P. Stewart, Robert F.(Carol A.) Zeimis and the late Thomas V. Zeimis. Brother of the late Vince Zeimis Sr. and Nell Wallach. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Lenore Zeimis. Grandfather of Terri Weller (Scott), Wendy (David) Baysa, Peter P. (Patrice) Zeimis III, Marshall (Amy) Stewart, and Bryan Stewart; Robert Zeimis Jr., Cherrell Zeimis and Edward Zeimis. Great grandfather of Richard Moore, Ronnie Moore and Michelle Moore; Alyssa Stewart and Katie and Brian Didur; Samantha Stewart; Skylar, David and Devin Baysa, Peter Paul IV and Veronica Zeimis and Thomas and Travis Mosley and Great, Great Grandfather of Savannah Moore. Best friend to Dulcinea Cheri(Dolly)Stewart. Mr. Zeimis was a Master Welder at General Motors and at National Automotive Fibers in Detroit. He was a staunch union supporter and, during his years as a factory worker, he spearheaded the acceptance of unions in the work place, serving as both union organizer and shop steward. In later years, he started a credit union at the factory. This venture into credit unions patterned the remainder of his professional career. He was the former manager of Highland Park City Credit Union and retired as the manager of Southeast Michigan State Employees Federal Credit Union. He served honorably in the CC camps during World War II and was a strong patriot. Visitation Wednesday 3-9pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 Mile Rd) in Warren. Funeral Services Thursday 10:00am at the funeral home. Interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery beside his beloved Dorothy.
