Randy Nelson Joseph Noell

Randy Nelson Joseph Noell, age 56, died Thursday, January 23, 2014 at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. He was born June 27, 1957 in Ancon, Canal Zone in Panama to Robert L. Noell and the late Ruth E. (nee: Williamson) Noell.With thanks & praise from a grateful nation, we pay homage to Randy for the call to duty he proudly answered by serving as a soldier in the United States Army from 1973-1978. He was a proud member of the 82nd Airborne, and was always happy to tell you the stories from his service.On July 8, 2005, Randy strolled down the aisle with the love of his life, Nancy (nee: Pilatowicz), with whom he would share 8 years of marriage before he was taken too soon from this earthly place.Randy is remembered as a man that was filled with love. He lived for the family gatherings and enjoyed some wonderful times in their company. From backyard BBQ's to family reunions in Alabama. His family was his rock and strength. Every moment that he was able to spend with his children and grandchildren meant the world to him. He loved hearing his precious grandbabies call him "Grampsey." Usually this meant that they could get whatever they wanted from grandpa if they turned on the charm. His children had a great role model to look up to,…a man that was fun, loving, helpful, strong, loyal and honorable. A man that would love them unconditionally, a man that will never be replaced, a man that will forever be the most amazing "Dad." Other hobbies and pasttimes Randy enjoyed included traveling to Alabama, and the casino. He loved to watch Reality TV, especially his favorite shows that included the Military Channel, Gold Rush, Duck Dynasty, TMZ and the Western Movies. He was loved by all who knew him and revered as a wonderful man, a great guy and a good friend. Perhaps one of the traits that will be most greatly missed by everyone was his ever-present sense of humor. Even in the serious and difficult moments, Randy could find a way to muster a "chuckle" and a smile. He will be sincerely missed and will remain in his loved one thoughts, hearts and prayers forever.He was the beloved husband of Nancy. Loving father of Shannon (Jason) Boczkowski, Stacey (Anthony) Wozniak, Randy, Robert (Shirley), Sean (Melissa), Ryan, Russel, Rebecca, and Rachel Noell. Son of Robert (Jane) Noell and the late Ruth Noell. Devoted "Grampsey" of 8 wonderful and beautiful grandchildren, Tyler, Hannah, Kadence, Isabella, Gabriella, Chase, and two precious angels that are on the way. He was the brother of Kimberlee (Mike) Federle, Heidi (Roger) Bott, Jennifer (Todd) Bean, John, Jason (Stacey), and the late Richard Noell. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other loving family members.Visitation Monday 3-9pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile) in Warren.
