Robert Jerome Frankowski

Robert J. Frankowski, age 57 of Warren, died suddenly at home with his wife by his side on Saturday, April 23, 2011. He was born on November 1, 1953 in Detroit, the loving son of the late Joseph (1977) and the late Helen (nee: Silarski...2-2-2011) Frankowski. Robert was a devoted family man who cherished his wife, children, and granddaughters...he would just glow when he looked at them. He was a true & loyal hometown sports fan, especially when it came to the University of Michigan. He enjoyed golfing with his wife, children and brother; spending time with his family; and vacationing in Harbor Springs. He always had a way of making people laugh, and he never said no to anyone who asked for his help. Robert was graced with a servant's heart and giving spirit, and always put others needs ahead of his own. A life gone far too soon, he will be immensely missed and lovingly remembered for the impact he had on so many lives. He was the beloved husband of Joyce for 27 years, although together for 35 years. A proud and loving father to Jennifer, Kevin (Shauna), Kimberly, and Alyssa. Papa with open & loving arms to Payton (2 1/2) and Jordyn (9 months). Cherished brother to Douglas Frankowski, and Nancy Frankowski. Visitation for Robert will be held on Wednesday from 6-9pm and Thursday from 2-9pm, with a 7pm Rosary Service, at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile Rd) in Warren. He will lie in state on Friday from 11:30am until the time of Mass at 12:00pm at St. Sylvester Catholic Church, 11200 Twelve Mile Road in Warren. Officiating the liturgy will be Father Tim Galos. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township, Michigan.
