Robert C. Senkowski, age 71 of Boyne Falls and a former long time resident of Warren, died Sunday, April 4, 2010 in Petoskey. Robert was born May 7, 1938 in Detroit, the son of the late Casmir and the late Bernice Senkowski. In Bobs earlier years, he could be described to all as an awesome salesman, selling anything to anyone. There was nothing he couldnt sell. As Bob became more experienced, he went on to sell tires, and eventually retired from his career as a successful automotive salesman. Bob moved from Warren to the Village of Boyne Falls about 6 years ago along with his wife, Lorraine. He absolutely loved the Up North lifestyle, enjoying his time snowmobiling and hunting. It was always a sight to see when Bob was outside on his property feeding the deer that traveled across his land. The deer would never run away from him, as they all became more like his very own pets. Most of all, Bob enjoyed spending his time with those closest to him. And there was definitely a very special place in his heart for his granddaughter, Emily. Bob will be greatly missed by all who knew him, especially his loving family. Bob was the beloved husband of Lorraine. He was the loving father of Russ, Judy, and Carrie. Dear grandfather of Emily. Uncle of Victoria and Lisa. Bob is also survived by his many granddogs. Memorial Visitation for Bob will be held on Friday from 3-9 pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Rd at Common (12 Mile Road.) A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am at the Funeral Home with Rev. Fr. Roman Pasieczny officiating. Bobs family would also like to invite everyone to continue to celebrate his life with a luncheon following his Memorial Service. The luncheon will take place at the American Polish Century Club in Sterling Heights. Please share memories of Bob at his Guest Book.
