Ron Mickel, 89, of Warren, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2025 in Chesterfield Township. Born in Detroit to Simon and Jennie (Michael) Mickel. He was the beloved husband of the late Beverly Mickel and loving father to Randy (Kris) Mickel, Steven Mickel, and Scott (Ann Marie) Mickel. Proud grandfather of Mathias (Emily) Kolatski, Hayden Mickel, Greysen Mickel, Julian Mickel (deceased), and Bryce Mickel (deceased).
Dear brother to Dennis Mickel and uncle to Dennis Mickel II and Darin Mickel.
After a brief military career, Ron spent over 50 years in television broadcasting. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Visitation at the Warren location of A.H. Peters Funeral Home on Thursday, July 31st, 10am - 12pm. Celebration of Life Service Thursday at 12pm at the funeral home.
