To know him was to remember him—bold, wild, funny, and utterly unforgettable. He lived out loud, often the life of the party, always full of stories, laughter, and charm. He had a deep love for people and brought energy wherever he went. Whether he was chasing another 300, playing softball, cheering for his favorite sports teams, or just holding court at a family gathering, he thrived in connection. He adored his family, loved his dogs, and had a soft spot for the golden sounds of Motown and the timeless voice of Frank Sinatra. Later in life, he experienced some personal challenges, but he remained committed to the people who were important to him. He was complicated, yes—but never forgettable. He leaves behind lasting memories and the impact of a life lived with energy and heart.
Russell is survived by the mother of his children, Barbara Bucchare, his daughter Kaitlin (Stephen) Chojnacki and son Dominic (Karly Ryckaert) Bucchare, grandchildren Brooks and Emerson Chojnacki and his loyal yorkie puppy Teddy.
