Samuel Sam J. Ward, 80, of Warren, died Saturday, September 27, 2008 at St. John Macomb Oakland Hospital-Macomb Center. He was born October 21, 1927 in Inez, Kentucky the son of the late Lambert and the late Anna (nee: Martin) Ward. Sam was a Veteran of World War II. He started working at Federal Mogul and then worked at Chrysler as a machinist where he later retired. He was a member of the 550 Lodge Masons and the Shrine. His family said he enjoyed bowling, golfing, gardening, fishing, and going to casinos. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Marie (nee: Revyn); son, Drew (Mary Lee) Pisha; grandchildren, Jennifer (Jesse) Rude, Kara (Dennis) Rieck, and Adam Rosso; great grandson, Zachary; and his brother, Earl Ward. Visitation for Mr. Ward will be held Tuesday 3-9 pm with a 7:30 pm Masonic Service at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile Road). A Funeral Service will be held 10 am Wednesday at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations are appreciated in Sam's name to The Capuchins 1820 Mt.
