Scott Dixon Woznicki

Scott Dixon Woznicki, 36, of Warren, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 7, 2025. Scott was born on August 11, 1988, to Tom and Michelle in Detroit, Michigan. He was a graduate of Warren Woods Tower High School in 2007 and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Wayne State University in 2011. Scott was a passionate artist. Along with creative writing, he was an avid painter – a skill taught to him by his grandfather. Scott was a kind and gentle soul, with a strong sense of giving. Many of his artworks were created as gifts for family and friends. A voracious reader, he also gifted many books to those he cared about – each given with intention considering the unique taste of the person in mind. Beyond the arts, Scott excelled as a tennis and ice hockey player, and continued his love of, and participation in, those sports beyond his competitive playing days. Scott is survived by his father Tom, mother Michelle, brother Sean, sister-in-law Stacy, grandmother Margery (Babb), and three cats Mao, Otto, and Zadie. A private memorial service will be held at the family's home.
